Alguersuari has quickly been moving up the ranks since becoming the youngest winner of the British Formula 3 Championship in 2008. This season he was named the reserve driver for the F1 Red Bull Racing team for the second half of the season, but that was just temporary. Alguersuari has earned a full-time ride for the team after departure of Sebastien Bourdais. He will make his F1 debut at the Hungarian Grand Prix and in doing so will become the youngest driver in F1 history at 19 years and 126 days old.
