Massa started in F1 with Sauber in 2002, with a best result of fifth place. After a one-year stint as a test driver for Ferrari, he returned to Sauber in 2004 where he posted two fourth-place finishes before leaving after the 2005 season. He signed as Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari teammate for 2006 and is now recognized as one of the rising talents on the circuit after a pair of first-place finishes.
